Rotary Clubs of Eastern Ontario donate $1 million to project s.t.e.p
$4.7 million of our $6 million goal
- 6,000 adults are intravenous drug users
- 9,000 teens use drugs, half on a regular basis
- 450+ teens are on a waiting list for residential treatment
The bucket is overflowing and we need to turn off the tap:
1) to secure comprehensive treatment for those teens who require help; and
2) to educate teens before they become an addiction statistic.
