Maison Fraternité Breaks Ground on First Residential Drug Treatment Facility for Francophone Youth in Eastern Ontario
Project s.t.e.p. is our community's response to addressing youth addiction. Through this program, youth can now make informed decisions and get early counselling through a standardized education and prevention program provided in all of Ottawa's high schools and offered by several community agencies. And for the first time, thanks to a successful fundraising campaign, youth will be able to access 24/7 residential treatment right here in Ottawa, instead of travelling to northern Ontario, out of province or the United States.
