“I had to wait four months to get into a residential treatment centre outside of the city. Waiting was horrible. All I wanted to do was use. I tried to commit suicide and I knew I needed treatment fast. I think it is great that Ottawa is getting its own residential treatment centre.”

The 1st annual golf tournament, held at the Marshes Golf Club, raised $40,000 in support of project s.t.e.p. The event was a huge success and was primarily targeted to the construction industry, with Cohen and Cohen as the major sponsor. Thanks to all who were involved in this event, either as participants or organizers.
